Mobile-friendly website design
With regards to user-friendliness there are three types of website out there.
What is responsive design?
Responsive design is a design philosophy wherein the design of the website responds, or adapts, to the layout of the device. With the wide use of smartphones and tablets, over half of your website visitors won’t be looking at it from a desktop computer. So it doesn’t matter how fantastic it looks on you computer…you’re losing a lot of people.
Your Free Church Website will adapt to whatever screen it is being viewed on. This will make sure your audience can easily find your content on desktop, tablet or mobile.
Before you sign up you can test out your favorite template for its mobile friendliness! Just click on the mobile icon in the top left corner for each template.
We haven’t done this by trying to cram everything from the big screen to the smaller. We’ve done it by intelligently pruning the amount of information that is visible on the page for each screen size. We’ve also moved things around and adjusted the design to improve website visitors experience.
We’ve also taken account of the very small screens some people will be using and have increased the font size of some sections to make sure that the content is easy to read on any screen.
